William E. Bradley, Jr.

Savannah- William Emmett Bradley, Jr. passed away on February 10, 2009 at Hospice Savannah.

He was a 1960 graduate of Benedictine Military School, and attended Armstrong College. He served in the Georgia Air National Guard-165th Airlift Group as a medic. He was an engineer with Allen Hydraulics in Savannah, Metroplex Products, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas and Diamond Manufacturing in Savannah. More recently, he owned Bradley Woodworkers.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 631, The St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee and the Coastal Heritage Society. He attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Anne Winters Bradley, 2 sons, William E. Bradley, III Catherine M., and James A. Bradley Vicki A.; by 2 daughters Kathleen B. McCarthy Michael T. and Margaret L. Bradley, all of Savannah. He is survived by 8 beloved grandchildren: Will and Addie Bradley, Rebecca, Jay and Thomas Bradley & Mary Margaret, Claire and Bridget McCarthy.

He is also survived by 2 sisters, Kathryn B. McDermott, Elizabeth B. Beeson C. Walker, and 1 treasured brother, James J. Bradley, all of Savannah, and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret Mary Davis Bradley and William E. Bradley, Sr.

Visitation: 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with a Vigil Service at 6:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 13, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. P. James Costigan, Celebrant.

Pallbearers: John J., Patrick A. and Michael K. McDermott, B. Patrick Winters, M. Barrett Welsh Jr. and James R. DeBorde.
Honorary pallbearers will be Edward M. Buttimer, Gerald E. Hagan, Dennis B. Rooks, Richard J. DeBorde and Barry McElveen.

Burial: Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Benedictine Military School, 6502 Seawright Drive, Savannah, GA 31416 or Hospice Savannah, PO Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
